ENGLISH BREAKFAST TEA

It was in the mid seventh century that the British began their love affair with tea and the habit of tea drinking is inexorably  linked to them.  It was from the very beginning seen as a healthy drink that both calms and invigorates.

Our luxury English breakfast teas are packed in biodegradable pyramid bags which, when submerged in boiling water allow the tea leaves to float freely, releasing maximum flavor into the water. There is less breakage of the tea leaves in these bags, reducing or eliminating the presence of tea “dust” in the bottom of the cup.

12 Tea Bags

Net Wt.    2.11 oz.

Ingredients:    Luxury Quality Flowery Peko tea leaves

Hot Tea:  Put 1 tea bag for each 7-9 oz of boiling water in teapot.  Pour fresh boiled water over the tea ( remember bring water to tea, not tea to water).  Steep 3-7 minutes.  Milk and sugar are recommended.

Iced Tea: Put 6 tea bags into a tea pot and pour in 1 1/2 cups of boiling water.  Steep for 7 minutes.  Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the British breakfast black tea into pitcher and add ice. Garnish and sweeten to taste.
