The joyous, large, melon size jar beautifully demonstrates why Italian hand painted ceramics have been collected since ancient times. “Albicocca” means apricot in Italian and amongst the deep green hand painted leaves are painted plump golden apricots. This large cookie jar with a lid is handmade and hand-painted in a Tuscan village famed for its ceramic production.
